The legal shelf

The agreements that govern SupportNest — written to describe what the product actually does, including where your data lives.

Effective March 15, 2026 · SupportNest Inc.

1. The short version

SupportNest keeps your workspace data in your browser. Account details (email, hashed password, plan) and workspace state (tickets, drafts, settings) persist locally on your machine. We do not sell data and there is no advertising.

2. What is stored, and where

Account records: your email, a SHA-256 hash of your password (the password itself is never stored), the plan on your workspace, and the workspace name you set during setup.

Workspace state: your tickets and their full threads, draft variants, signature, and settings.

All of this lives in your browser's local storage under supportnest.* keys. Clearing site data or using the reset control in workspace settings removes it entirely.

3. What is never collected

Card data: checkout does not collect or store card numbers, expiry dates, or CVC.

Plaintext passwords: only irreversible hashes are stored locally.

Customer message contents beyond the threads already in your own workspace.

4. The AI reply suggestions

Suggestions are generated from the conversation context to draft the routine parts of a reply. They are presented for your review inside the composer, are never sent on their own, and you remain the author of everything you send.

5. Retention

Conversation history retention maps to your plan (90 days / 2 years / unlimited). Your account and workspace persist until you delete them.

6. Contact

Privacy questions go through the contact form — a human reads the mailbox within one business day.
